Very useful. I recommend everyone should have a hard copy of the manual of the car they have. Even if you use online FSMs, it's always useful to have this on hand. I bought this used and it is still in good condition.

Bought this for my girlfriend since she has gotten into models. Mostly buy Revell but they didn't have this car. She was bummed it molded in red since that was the color she wanted to paint it so she didn't get to paint it. No biggy. My only complaint is it DOESN'T have an engine to build. Still a great model to put together

I ordered these for my husband for Christmas as a little extra something. They are nice quality and I'm sure he'll get a kick out of them.JUST NOTE!! These were shipped to me in a regular white paper envelope with no indication of what it was. I almost threw it away thinking it was junk mail! Just watch for them in the mail if you order.

Not bad...
I hate to take away stars from an item like this- since they're decals, how much could possibly go wrong?- but chances are if you are interested in this item, you are already set on getting them unless the reviews are all 1 star (you're paying for a relatively simple idea, unless they have screwed up every single order).Anyway, the decal itself is not very transparent. Not that this is very much of a problem- this is more of a warning than a complaint, since it seems like the image posted suggests a very clearly transparent decal, but in retrospect you can't really see since it's all sky.Other than that, my only complaint is that the stickers were not well cut. They were printed on strips, probably from a single adhesive sheet, and I could see where the outline of the actual decal ended and the blank sheet began, but when I tried to peel the decal, it was not cut / separated from the sheet itself. I tried holding down the sheet and peeling out the decal, then...

Every RX-7 fan should read this one
I have just finished this book, plus the three extra omitted chapters, and I felt compelled to write this review. As a weekend mechanic, I appreciate how well- written the book is. So far I have learned so much more useful information in the past few days than I have in the past 7-8 months since I bought my 1993 RX-7. I particularly like the straight forward approach that you don;t always get with the various magazines. I already started doing a few things to the car that I didn't know needed to be upgraded so that I may avoid potential problems (the 3rd generation RX-7 is a great car, but it can be unreliable). I would recommend this book to all rx-7 owners

Both informative and fun to read
This book was such a refreshing change over the typical dry and boring auto performance book. This guy has a sense of humor, and besides being informative, the book is fun to read. I have an 89 Turbo II, and was impressed that someone finally addressed issues about MY car (seems like most of the magazines concentrate on the 93-95 RX-7). I learned a lot, and highly recommend this book. I visited the author's home page and bought this book as well as a model of my car! (been looking for one of those for years). Thanks, Mike

Excellent for beginners Despite Over enthusiasm
This book is written in plain english and easily understood. I bought it because I wanted some rumours about RX7 cleared. All the topics are relevent and handy, making this book a keepsake. Simetimes the articles sound too enthusiastic, making you wondr if the reviews were objective, It's hard to get an objective review from a fanatic racer (as Ancas is). The only bad point is that the picture quality is poor and is in black and white.Nevertheless, I am glad I bought it. Anyone interested in purchasing the RX7 or just purchased one should GET this book!FARIDMalaysia

Please allow us to introduce you to Arvin and his beautiful ’93 Mazda RX7. Anyways , my Korean friend who had it for four years sold to some Chinese dude in Quincy for 10,000 when the car was 18 years old. I traded it for a 1990 300ZX NA, the Korean friend that I traded it to, turned around and spent around 24,000 on it, new single turbo, rebuilt the engine, carbon fiber hood and I think even a couple of the fenders maybe. The FD is prone to electrical fires because the engine harness from factory was built to the same standard as the other Mazda cars, the problem is, rotaries get much much hotter. couple that with almost 20 years of aging, cold winters, hot summers, hot engine. After purchasing a car that started out as a stripped down shell that had to be built back up from scratch, the day these photos were taken was something Arvin looked forward to very much. Well the tide came in, my 7 was sitting in 10 inches of salt water, I tried to to move it, but the engine actually started to suck water.
1987 mazda rx7 Beatiful car great shape. The car Has been garage kept for the 6 years i have had it. The car has always been run on 93+ octane. this car has a brand new rebuilt motor in it. It is just broke in with 3,500 miles on it, pushes 330whp. It was rebuilt by pettit racing one of the best rotory shops around.
A friend had an an old RX7 and later a new RX8. I drove the RX8 hard, and it was an awesome car. I kept hitting the rev limiter because the engine was so smooth at high RPM. But I think the times have moved past the Rotary. Fuel economy and emissions
